For the record, I love the SF State Library system. I’ve used and abused it pretty much non-stop for the last year.
Books aren’t going anywhere. I don’t care how cool Alexis’s Kindle is! (just kidding i’m the jealous type) I like holding huge books with big full color photos of furniture and sketches. For my own sake of keeping track of what I’ve got - here’s a list of the books I’m hoping to find valuable information within.
the design of everyday things by Donald A. Norman
designing design by Kenya Hara [translation Maggie Kinser Hohle, Yukiko Naito]
glass, paper, beans : revelations on the nature and value of ordinary things by Leah Hager Cohen
doing environmental ethics by Robert Traer
starbucked : a double tall tale of caffeine, commerce, and culture by Taylor Clark
brewing justice : fair trade coffee, sustainability, and survival by Daniel Jaffee
hospitality facilities management and design by David M. Stipanuk, Harold Roffmann
